The Fir House is a 1930 bungalow located in Evergreen, Colorado, a short drive west of Denver in the Rocky Mountains. This fully furnished rental is surrounded by a forest of fir and ponderosa pine in a quiet residential area just
north of historical downtown Evergreen. The house is nestled on .3 acres on a mountainside at approximately 7400 feet in elevation, and offers a perfect blend of mountain living with the convenience of city amenities nearby. The Fir House is available for family, vacation, holiday, honeymoon, and corporate rental.
The cozy bungalow style floor plan of the Fir House features a master bedroom adjacent to the living area with french doors that open into the living space. The open living and dining area create a warm conversational atmosphere. The 1930 rock fireplace has a built-in convection system that throws heat into the interior of the house; a sitting area is located near the fireplace. Work at the desk or enjoy the fireplace while relaxing with a good book. The dining table is located near the kitchen and a large picture window offers a view of the forested mountainside behind the house. We rarely pass a day without a visit from deer, elk, or red fox. The house is fully furnished, towels and linens are provided, and starter supplies include coffee filters, napkins, soaps, paper towels, etc.
